JXN'S NEW ALT-POP BREAK-UP BOP IS A BIG MOOD

Aussie alt-pop act JXN has returned with Just Okay, a moody break-up tune that channels a softer, introspective sound in comparison to his recent indie-trap releases like Going Off ft. A$AP Twelvvy and Red Lights ft. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.
The new bop sees JXN get personal about needing space after the end of a longterm relationship.
He explains, "Just Okay was written one day after a break-up I went through. The mood and lyrics aren’t specifically based off that one break-up, but it made me think of people in relationships who are not feeling that great. It also made me reflect on how I may have made some of my ex-girlfriends or girls feel at certain time. I feel like everyone has the right to feel “great” not “just okay” so I really wanted to keep the messaging simple and strong.
"I wrote this with Phinisey in LA, it was the first session I had on my LA writing trip last June and I fell in love with the song more as everyday passed. So stoked to be able to put it out! And I hope it connects with people not just in relationships but in general life, it’s okay to feel “just okay” but we should all strive to feel something great."
