OPENSIDE'S NEW SINGLE 'I JUST WANTED YOU' WILL GIVE YOU SONIC WARM FUZZIES

I Just Wanted You follows on from Openside's loved-up hit single Waiting For Love. Both tracks are giving us major warm fuzzies. We're talking pure pop ear-candy.
Infact, I Just Wanted You is so sweet it may induce a sugar rush. Symptoms include a strong urge to jump up and down and an uncontrollable crooning that goes something like this; "ooooh oooh oooooooh oooh oooh ooooooh".
The Kiwi alt-pop band have really switched up the vibe on their latest three-track project Episode 2: Waiting For Love; transitioning from catchy angst to a brighter, lighter side of pop.
The band explain; "(the new tunes) explore a more wistful, hopeful and optimistic streak than much of the music we have released before."
"Episode Two: Waiting For Love has been another incredible opportunity for us to collaborate with some of our favourite co-writers, Josh Fountain and Djeisan Suskov of Leisure and Dave Baxter of Avalanche City."
With a sprinkle of Halsey and a dash of Hayley Williams, Possum's voice is mesmerising.
George's drumming is tighter than ever, and Harry and PJ are thriving in warmer melodies.
Following a huge start to 2019, recently opening for Anne-Marie and headlining a standout show at Hollywood Avondale, we can't wait to see what's next for this Kiwi band who are making big moves.
